Authorized Driver Program

日本一本道a不卡免费All ASU employees who drive university owned, leased or rented vehicles, including electric carts, for official business must complete the Authorized Driver Program.

This process includes:

  • Authorized Driver training
  • Complete all steps in the Authorized Driver Program guide,  accessed in MyASU in the Employee tab
  • Driver Authorization for rechecks, which includes providing proof of a valid U.S. Driver’s License of the appropriate class.
  • Motor Vehicle Record check

When an employee's driver’s license expires, or their driver’s license has more than six points, a re-verification process is required.

Employees with positions identifying them as drivers for official business are notified by email with instructions to complete the Authorized Driver Program.

Authorized Driver training options

日本一本道a不卡免费The Authorized Driver Training covers both campus mall and public road driving safety awareness. This course replaces the previous Defensive Driving and Driving on the Mall courses.

Two options of the Authorized Driver training course are available to meet State of Arizona and ASU requirements:

Complete the instructor-led course offered by EHS. To look up scheduled EHS classes and to register, go to the EHS training webpage, select the maroon box and follow the instructions for registration.
Complete the web-based course on .

These regulations ensure the safety of our employees and volunteers and comply with the and ASU Policy EHS 119: Motor Fleet Safety.

Driving on campus

ASU traffic control policies PDP 207–01 Tempe Campus Transportation Code and PDP 207–02日本一本道a不卡免费  Vehicles and Carts on Malls or Sidewalks detail the rules and regulations for driving on ASU malls and require a comprehensive driving awareness course for anyone driving on any of the ASU campus malls or to immediate ASU structures.  You must complete the Authorized Driver Training if you will be driving a university vehicle, including electric carts, on any of the ASU campuses or on public streets.

Vendor and contractor driving

Vendors and contractors without an ASU affiliate ID must watch the prior to driving on campus.

Vendors and contractors must also complete the ASU permitting process and comply with ASU policies stated on the Vendor and Contractor Parking webpage.
