Departments' Information

Faculty and staff members assigned to your department, school or college may request:

  • 日本一本道a不卡免费A continuous leave of absence if they must be absent from work for more than three consecutive work days,

  • An intermittent leave of absence if they must miss work on an intermittent basis due to an on-going personal or immediate family member’s medical condition.

A leave of absence may be categorized as one or more of the following:

  • FMLA paid

  • FMLA unpaid

  • ASU - non-FMLA - leave paid

  • 日本一本道a不卡免费ASU - non-FMLA - leave unpaid

Office of Human Resources Benefits Design and Management staff are available to assist departments in managing leaves of absence to ensure compliance with ASU policy as well as federal and state regulations.

ASU leave

Employees may be eligible for an ASU - non-FMLA - leave when they:

  • Are not eligible for an FMLA leave*

  • Have exhausted their FMLA entitlement or

  • Are requesting a leave of absence for personal or military reasons

Information and instructions

FMLA

Employees may be eligible for a Family and Medical Leave Act leave*日本一本道a不卡免费 when they:

  • Have been employed by an Arizona University System institution - ASU, Northern Arizona University, University of Arizona and/or the Arizona Board of Regents - for at least 12 months

  • Have worked at least 1,250 hours in the year immediately preceding the leave start date and

  • 日本一本道a不卡免费Are requesting a leave of absence for an FMLA-qualified reason
